KBEP is seeking to hire a full-time, year round Educator. The educator will be responsible for high-quality delivery of the program curricula to elementary, middle and high school students, with some programming for adults and youth in other non-traditional settings. This position also entails supporting the overall functioning of the organization, with participation in violence prevention awareness events, fundraising events, data collection, curriculum development, and other organizational projects. Qualifications:
Candidates must have experience working with youth in schools or other group settings, as well as a passion and commitment to violence prevention. An undergraduate degree and a minimum of one year experience working directly with youth, particularly youth of diverse populations. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to be a supportive and flexible team member. Candidates must have daily reliable transportation and must pass a standard CORI check. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
