Description

Join us during National Volunteer Week to Celebrate Service at the Sharing the Harvest Community Farm, a program of YMCA Southcoast, Dartmouth.

Volunteers will help plant veggies like tomatoes, potatoes, and cucumbers, help start the children’s garden, and do mulching and other necessary tasks around the farm. All the food grown at Sharing the Harvest is donated to United Way of Greater New Bedford's Hunger Commission and delivered to local food pantries in Greater New Bedford for residents to have access to fresh, healthy produce free of charge.

This is a Family Friendly event! We strongly encourage you to dress comfortably and know you WILL get dirty. We require that you wear closed toe shoes.
