Since 2006, volunteers have contributed over 64,000 hours of service, engaged in 25,000 visits to the farm, and have made it possible to donate over 547,000 pounds of produce. Everything grown on the farm is donated to our neighbors in need through a partnership with the United Way of Greater New Bedford's Hunger Commission.
Sharing the Harvest also provides hands-on educational opportunities for volunteers to learn about agriculture and food security. Our fields serve as an outdoor classroom for learners of all ages.
