Description

Volunteering for hospice can be a very rewarding experience. It enables volunteers to get involved in a program that offers much appreciated services to the patients and families served by the hospice program.

Hospice Volunteer Opportunities:

Administrative Volunteers: Assist with the day-to-day office work and special projects.

Grief Support Volunteers: Assist in supporting the hospice bereavement service.

Patent Care Volunteers: Provide direct support to hospice patients in their homes.

Complementary Therapies (certification required): Reiki, Aromatherapy, Massage Therapy, & Music Therapy

A comprehensive Hospice Volunteer training as well as ongoing monthly education in-service sessions and volunteer support is provided to all hospice volunteers at no cost.

All applicants must be over 18

All applicants must be willing to make a minimum six-month commitment.

These are not paid positions.

The Brockton VNA services the following communities: Abington, Avon, Braintree, Bridgewater, Brockton, Canton, Carver, East Bridgewater, Easton, Foxboro, Hanover, Hanson, Holbrook, Halifax, Kingston, Lakeville, Mansfield, Middleboro, Milton, Norton, Pembroke, Plympton, Randolph, Raynham, Rockland, Sharon, Stoughton, Taunton, West Bridgewater, Weymouth, and Whitman.
