Provide support for the patient/family including companionship, run errands, respite care for patient caregivers, and other support needs for patients/family/caregivers.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Document visits accurately and submit in timely manner.
- Promote personal and environmental safety while performing duties.
- Participate in yearly training.
- Display professionalism as a representative of the organization.
- Agree to all background checks done by the organization.
- Provide own transportation to assignments.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with people of diverse background and ages.
- Comfortable with death and dying process.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Demonstrate empathy and concern for the needs of others.
