Gather at SouthCoast Sanctuaries Stone Barn Farm Property for Mass Audubon's Annual Statewide Volunteer Day. This family-friendly volunteer event falls around Earth Day and this year we will be clearing view sheds of the pond along the Quansett Trail, we will be building benches and picnic tables for public enjoyment, and will remove an old fence in preparation for a new trail. Participants are encouraged to wear long pants and sturdy footwear. Snacks and water for refillable water bottles will be provided. Gloves, loppers, hand tools, and battery-power tools will be used.
