Our annual events would not be possible without the generosity and hard work of our volunteers. We are once again extending the invitation to civic minded and thoughtful individuals to join us in planning and executing one of our events.
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual Walk for Survivor Safety and Community Cultural Fair on October 14, 2023, at D.W. Field E. Pkwy Brockton! This will be a 5K walk and fair that raises funds for and awareness about domestic violence while celebrating the wonderful diversity in our community.
We are looking for:
- Event committee volunteers and leaders to assist with planning and fundraising, which includes soliciting some in-kind donations for raffle prizes. Starting in August, this group will meet regularly. Our first meeting will be August 9th via Zoom.
- Day of event volunteers to help with set up and break down, work the registration table, hand out participant t-shirts, run games and activities at the fair, and hand out water at water stations along the course.
