Who We Are
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Bedford/Wareham is the 3rd oldest of the more than 4,000 Clubs nationwide. We have served Greater New Bedford youth, ages 7 - 18, since 1870. Beginning in 2007 the New Bedford Club merged with a Club in Wareham. We now have more than 1200 members from 9 cities and towns from Buzzards Bay to Westport. Our mission is "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."
What We Do
Our programs are designed to help youth in three key area: to achieve Academic Success, to strengthen Character anf to adopt Healthy Lifestyles. From boxing to foosball, from homework assistance to arts and music, from nutrition education to anti-drug programs, the Boys & Girls Club offers dozens of daily activities that are fun and useful.
The cost of membership, which allows participation in all of our arter-shcool programs, is $25 pre year.
