Who We Are

Who We Are We are a grassroots, BIPOC women-led, community-driven, built-by-us-for-us organization dedicated to nurturing BIPOC women and families through the sacred passage of birth while restoring the village model of communal care. Our work is rooted in indigenous and ancestral wisdom, fostering self-liberation, generational healing, and maternal wellness to create thriving families and empowered communities.

What We Do

Our Offerings & Services SisterFriend Mentorship: Providing guidance and emotional & practical support to expectant mothers through their birthing and postpartum journey. Maternal Wellness & Restoration: Programs that center holistic well-being, whole-care, and community-based supports & options. Wisdom & Knowledge Keeping: Sharing ancestral birthing wisdom, village prenatal, postpartum preparation, sacred circle, and wellness workshops. Community Engagement & Advocacy: Strengthen partnerships and engage in policy work to improve birthing outcomes for BIPOC women. Restorative Healing Spaces: Creating brave ecosystems for women & families to heal, connect, and thrive.
