Provide support services to the hospital's Emergency Room staff and patients consistent with the goals of the hospital. Volunteers will serve as a liaison between the ED waiting room and patient care area. Give patient status to families when appropriate. Assist patients as directed by staff. Run errands to lab, clinics, medical records & surgical services.
Must be caring & compassionate to deal well with patients, their families, visitors, and staff.
