Join United Way's Communtiy Outreach Team!  

The United Way of Greater New Bedford’s Community Outreach Team is responsible for spreading the word about United Way and its work in the community. The team will be asked to attend community events throughout the year on behalf of UWGNB.

At each event, United Way will provide a Community Outreach Team kit filled with information about our programs and initiatives that may be of interest to anyone stopping by our table.

At many events, volunteers will be asked to collect food for the Hunger Commission. We will provide a tote bin for these non-perishable food items.

As a member of the Community Outreach Team, you will be notified at least a week before an outreach event via email to check your availability. Events may include, but are not limited to, tabling at community events, completing crafts with children or working with members of the United Way Staff to distribute program materials to the public.
