United Neighbors Of Fall River

United Neighbors of Fall River provides 3 core opportunities to develop strong families and encourage safe and healthier communities. We promote peace and tranquility through our peace initiatives; National Night Out, Peace by Piece, Peace Pole Project, America's Promise Alliance, Heroes of Peace Award, Partnership with World Peace, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness months, Fall River Domestic Violence Coalition and VDAY. We instill the values of secure and stable families through the following programs; Foster Care Awareness Campaign, The Resource Assistance Centers, Building Bridges Resource Bags, Nurturing Fathers Program, Parenting Cafes, Community Educational Initiatives and Homeless Coalition through Partners for Health and Well Being. And lastly, we strive for community empowerment and engagement by collaborating in efforts such as Neighborhood Associations Connections, United Neighbors Community Partnership, MyFallRiver.org, Greater Fall River Partners for a Healthier Community, City Festivals, Resource Fairs, and Safe Community Pathways; Office Giunta Race Route.

The United Neighbors of Fall River Community Connections Coalition is committed to promoting a strong, healthy and safe community which will assist families in the promotion of domestic peace and tranquility, optimum growth and development of our children and secure and stable family environments. As a coalition we will strive to coordinate and build on existing resources in an effort to develop strong, sustainable family support systems. United Neighbors/Community Connections Coalition was established in 1998. We are one of twenty two coalitions across the state of Massachusetts that is federally funded through the Department of Children and Families. Our mission is to facilitate the organization of comprehensive family support systems in the neighborhoods of the City of Fall River. Our goal is to create the conditions necessary to strengthen families and build a safer and healthier community.
