The volunteer opportunity at The Arc of Greater Brockton is to work alongside our participants in our bottle and can Redemption Center. The facility provides an opportunity for the public to redeem their bottle and can returnables for 5 cents each. We then employee our participants with disabilities to sort the bottles/cans so that we can bring them to larger recycling operations in the State.
As a volunteer you will work alongside our participants in sorting bottles/cans, helping to repackage the sorted bottles/cans and assist customers if needed.
